Welcome to the Hypermedia Research Unit. Our unit exploits Knowledge Organization Systems and Semantic Web Technologies to augment search and information discovery, with funding from EPSRC and AHRC. Cultural heritage has been a particular focus, collaborators including English Heritage and the Science Museum. The Unit is pioneering study of the online Welsh language use and bilingual design guidelines. The New Review of Hypermedia and Multimedia, is edited by unit members.
