“New Review of Hypermedia and Multimedia: Reflecting on 20 Years of Hypermedia”.
Daniel Cunliffe and Douglas Tudhope are Editors of NRHM (Taylor & Francis) and briefly review NRHM‘s history, within the Hypermedia field, and its current role.

STAR Terminology Services presented at 2nd DELOS Conference

Initial STAR project SKOS-based terminology services were demonstrated at the 2nd DELOS Network of Excellence Conference on Digital Libraries, as part of the DelosDLMS demonstrator.
New JISC funded projects on Knowledge Organization Systems

We are collaborating in two new projects, recently funded by JISC.
(a) EnTag: a demonstrator investigating the potential of combining social tagging with a large Knowledge Organization System (the Dewey Decimal Classification).
(b) a scoping study of a terminology registry

Welcome to a new member of the Hypermedia Research Unit – Javier Lacasta, Visiting Research Fellow.
Javier is an Assistant Professor at the Univeristy of Zaragoza, Department de Informática e Ingeniería de Sistemas. Javier will be with is for 3 months working on issues connected with mapping between thesauri – developing standard mapping relationships and expressing them in terms of terminology web services.
